Grow Up

A quarter of a century

But hearing you

Someone could mistaken that century for a decade

Tantrum

Tantrum

Cry cry cry

When things don’t go your way

You have a melt down and whine

Stomping your little feet

Pointing your face

Demanding you get what you want immediately

No patience

No awareness

Where did this come from

Craving attention so bad

Did mommy ignore you

Did she not have time for you and your antics

Now you punish other women for your short comings

So deprived of what you haven’t been in since the day you were born

No wonder you haven’t been able to open a single woman’s box

Suffocating and insufferable

Refusing to listen

Then having the gall to act like it was your choice all along

You’re so afraid to lose the few straws of control you have

You’d rather crush everything to death with your grip than let something or someone go

It’s pathetic

Just

Fucking

Pathetic

Acting like a big man but you’re just a

Scared

Little

Boy

Go cry to your mommy

Wah wah wah

Maybe she’ll wipe your alligator tears

A boy that still can’t self soothe

Expecting the world to care

Grow

The

Fuck

Up
